Women's season cut short due to COVID pandemic

Wests Tigers’ run in the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership has come to an end after the NSWRL made the decision to reduce the finals series from six teams to four due to rescheduling around COVID-19 disruptions.

Although it’s not an ideal way to finish the season and it’s a disappointing result for the club, Wests Tigers would like to congratulate all the players for a successful season that saw the Women’s team finish inside the top six with six wins and five losses.

The side enjoyed a number of comprehensive victories throughout the season, including three wins by 46 points or more.

The competition will recommence on 17th July with a top four finals series, featuring Central Coast Roosters, Helensburgh Tigers, Mounties and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.
