Wests Tigers Coach Michael Maguire has named an unchanged team for his side’s Round 4 clash against the Parramatta Eels on Easter Monday at Stadium Australia.

After a tight win over the Newcastle Knights last weekend, Wests Tigers will field the same 17 for their traditional Easter Monday game against the Eels, which will return to the former Olympic venue for the first time since 2018.

The shift in venue will allow for a greater capacity of fans to attend the Easter Monday game, which did not take place in 2020 due to COVID-19.

Alex Twal has been named at lock and will take part in Monday’s game despite being found guilty at the NRL Judiciary on Tuesday night.

Tommy Talau and James Roberts will again start in the centres for Maguire’s side with Joey Leilua named in jersey 19 following a strong performance in the Knock On Effect NSW Cup last week. Leilua joins Russell Packer, Michael Chee Kam and Alex Seyfarth as four reserves names as part of the 21-man squad.

For the Eels,Ryan Matterson (concussion) returns after a precautionary week off with Isaiah Papali'i moving back to the interchange and Keegan Hipgrave relegated to the reserves.

Mitchell Moses (concussion) is named but must pass the relevant protocols after failing a first-half HIA against Cronulla.

Bryce Cartwright has also been included among the reserves after recovering from a broken jaw suffered in a pre-season training accident.

Final teams will then be confirmed one hour prior to kickoff (3:00pm, Monday).
