Wests Tigers celebrated a perfect weekend across all three men’s grades in Round 3 with all sides recording their first wins of 2021, while the Harvey Norman’s Women’s Premiership team enjoyed the bye.

Wests Tigers notched their first win of the 2021 season with a thrilling 24-20 victory against the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Having led from the majority of the match, it appeared the away side were in for a heartbreaking finish when Tyson Frizell crossed with 10 minutes to go to give the. Knights the lead but winger David Nofoaluma scored late to give Wests Tigers their first victory of the season.

Wests Tigers were high on confidence following their 54-4 won over Cabramatta in Round 1 and would’ve liked to have kept their momentum rolling, however their Round 2 clash against North Sydney was called off due to wet weather and they had the bye this weekend.
They’ll return to play in Round 4 against the Helensburgh Tigers on Easter Monday at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
