Wests Tigers Coach Michael Maguire has updated his 19-man squad to take on the Canberra Raiders for their Round 1 clash on Sunday.

Kickoff for the match is at 4:05pm AEDT from GIO Stadium in Canberra.

After a strong week of training, Maguire has confirmed an unchanged side with Michael Chee Kam and Jock Madden travelling with the squad to Canberra.

Young forwards Alex Seyfarth and Tuki Simpkins drop out of the 19-man squad and will lineup for Western Suburbs in the Knock On Effect NSW Cup curtain-raiser against Canberra on Sunday.

Wests Tigers are set to field five club debutants on Sunday with Daine Laurie, James Roberts, James Tamou, Joe Ofahengaue and Stefano Utoikamanu all playing their first game for the club.

Roberts' first game for Wests Tigers will also be his 150th NRL game following previous stints at the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Penrith Panthers, Gold Coast Titans and Brisbane Broncos.

Both sides will provide final 17-man team lists one hour prior to kickoff.
