Junior Reps Results: Round 4

Wests Tigers Tarsha Gale side have continued their blistering start to 2021 with a 20-12 win over the St. George Dragons at Leichhardt Oval — preserving their unbeaten start to the year.

Hope Tevaga bagged a double in the win for Wests Tigers — moving them into second position on the ladder ahead of next week's bye round, which will see the side with a maximum 10 points from the opening five weekends.

That result was the highlight from Wests Tigers junior representative and associated teams over the weekend, however, as Balmain and Western Suburbs found it tough going in their respective matches in Harold Matthews and SG Ball.

Both sides recorded narrow defeats in the U/17's Harold Matthews competition while it was more of the same in SG Ball — Balmain going down to the Sharks in both grades while Western Suburbs were unable to overcome the Sea Eagles.

Macarthur Wests Tigers ensured there would be further joy in the junior grades, however, with strong performances in both the Laurie Daley and Andrew Johns Cup competitions against Riverina Bulls on Sunday.
