Wests Tigers have today confirmed that utility Billy Walters will miss the remainder of the 2020 season after he sustained multiple torn ligaments against the Newcastle Knights in Round 13.
Scans today have confirmed the 26-year-old will require surgery on tears to his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments, and will likely miss the start of the 2021 season as he begins on his recovery process in the coming weeks.
In his first season with the club, Walters has featured in eight games for Wests Tigers with a try and three try assists to his name.
