Wests Tigers sign Zane Musgrove

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of Zane Musgrove, effective immediately.

The two-year deal will see Musgrove join Wests Tigers until at least the end of the 2021 NRL season, having had his registration conditionally approved by the NRL.

Having made his first-grade debut in 2016, Musgrove has played 27 NRL games for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and made his international debut for Samoa at the 2017 World Cup.

The Mangere East junior said he was delighted to sign with Wests Tigers.

“I’m really excited to get on the field with Wests Tigers,” Musgrove said.

“I’ve been able to see the progress that Michael Maguire has made with this team in the last 12 months and I’m looking forward to being able to play a part in us really stepping forward now and starting to achieve some strong success.”

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe said he was pleased to see Musgrove sign with the club and commended him on his actions over the past 12 months in his career.

“On behalf of all at Wests Tigers, I’d like to officially welcome Zane to the club and say how pleased we are to see him as part of our squad for the coming years,” Pascoe said.

“As much as we are certain he will bring a lot to this club on field each week, we’re also convinced Zane will have a key role to play off the field too. Wests Tigers is a club with strong convictions and a strong identity, and I have no doubt that Zane’s rugby league journey so far will continue to see him develop into a fine young man.”
