Wests Tigers Members and fans will have the most family-friendly schedule at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in over a decade with three Sunday afternoon fixtures confirmed for 2020.
Beginning with a Round 3 blockbuster against Sydney rivals Canterbrury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Wests Tigers will then welcome two more Sunday afternoon games at the iconic suburban ground in Round 21 and Round 23 — key home fixtures for the side in what is expected to be a crucial run home to the NRL finals.
Not since 2007 has Campbelltown Sports Stadium played host to three Sunday afternoon games in the same season, with the fixtures setting up for several strong crowds against teams that have historically drawn strong attendances.
The Round 3 clash against Canterbury-Bankstown is a reflection of the same fixture in 2019 — a match that was the club's best-attended Campbelltown game in the season with 15,127 watching the all-Sydney affair.
Brisbane will also return to the venue in Round 21 for a Sunday afternoon game, with Wests Tigers again primed for a tight encounter given the recent winning margins between the two. Three of the last four games against Brisbane have been won by two points or less, and it's again shaping as an intriguing affair in 2020 following on from Wests Tigers' thrilling win at Suncorp Stadium in 2019.
It's also worth noting too that Wests Tigers have played host to Brisbane twice on a Sunday at Campbelltown with strong crowds in excess of 13,000 both times.
Wests Tigers final home game of the year at Campbelltown will come a fortnight later when they take on the Gold Coast Titans on Sunday, August 23.
The last time the two sides met at Campbelltown on a Sunday was incredibly also in Round 23, with a sell-out crowd of 16,783 turning up back in 2016.
That crowd figure remains the best attended Wests Tigers game at Campbelltown Sports Stadium since 2011 and sets the tone for another strong crowd in 2020.
