Wests Tigers Head Coach Michael Maguire says his side are excited for the challenge of keeping their season alive on Sunday as they take on the St. George-Illawarra Dragons.
Brisbane's Golden Point win over Parramatta on Thursday night means Wests Tigers head to the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday needing to win to keep their hopes at a top eight finish alive, with Maguire saying his side are excited — not daunted — by the proposition of heading in to another sudden-death game.
"It is a big game and we're looking forward to it," Maguire said on Saturday.
"The boys have had a great week and we're looking forward to getting in to it.
"I think every game has been a must-win for a while now, and I think we've had some good practice around how to approach games like that.
"We need to look after each other and do all the little things that we've practiced to this point and get a really strong performance on.
"We know the circumstances we're in and we're looking forward to the challenge."

Having named an unchanged side from the side that got the job done last weekend, Maguire was keeping his cards close to his chest in regards to a possible late switch with Josh Reynolds and Benji Marshall around the number nine jersey.
"We've got a few little changes but time will tell again," he said with a smile.
"It did work for us but we're looking for different ways on how to play.
'Benji has been really strong and he's really stood up in the last couple of months. He's owning what he's doing and he's doing what is needed.
"The boys are getting a lot of enjoyment out of that and it's something we have to nail down tomorrow because it's a big game for us."
Wests Tigers will provide an updated 19-man squad to take on the Dragons at 4:05pm on Saturday before finalising their side one hour prior to kickoff.
