Garner to fight Judiciary charge on Tuesday night

Wests Tigers forward Luke Garner will plead not guilty to a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact - Other offence after he was charged by the Match Review Committee from Round 21.

Garner was sin-binned for the incident involving Bulldogs playmaker Lachlan Lewis midway through the first half, with the Grade 1 charge attracting a 100-point base penalty as well as 35 carryover points to be added from a previous incident.

Wests Tigers will enter a not guilty plea for the 23-year-old, who will now front the Judiciary on Tuesday night. If successful, Garner will be free to play against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles this Thursday night at Lottoland.

If unsuccessful, the forward will be suspended for Thursday's game.
