Wests Tigers hunting Grand Final spot in Touch Football

Wests Tigers Men's Touch Football team will be out to make it back-to-back Grand Final appearances this Sunday when they take on the Newcastle Knights at GIO Stadium.

After going down in a thrilling Extra Time finish last year to the Brisbane Broncos, Wests Tigers are again within touching distance of the Grand Final having finished the regular season in third position. They'll face the Knights this Sunday for a place in next week's Grand Final against the North Queensland Cowboys.

The season started on a high with four straight wins against Warriors, Eels, Broncos and Titans to put Wests Tigers on top of the table.

Close defeats to the Cowboys (two tries) and Knights (one try) in the past two weeks saw them finish the regular season in third, and they'll need to get past Newcastle again this week if they are to make it to back-to-back Grand Finals.

The Knights come in to the game in good form with victory in five of their last six matches, with their only defeat coming against the minor premiers Cowboys.

The game will be live-streamed on www.weststigers.com.au as well as KAYO Sports, with the match to kick off at 12:40pm AEST from the nation's capital ahead of the Canberra Raiders' Round 21 clash with the Sydney Roosters.

The victorious side will head straight into the Grand Final next week to face the North Queensland Cowboys at the Sydney Cricket Ground prior to the Sydney Roosters' Round 22 clash against the New Zealand Warriors.

Coverage for that match is again available online with kickoff at 12:40pm AEST.

Wests Tigers would like to wish the side good luck ahead of this week's game!
