KTown Man of the Match: Round 13

On a tough night for Wests Tigers against the Canberra Raiders, the performance of Ryan Matterson was a highlight as he continued to do his best in both attack and defence for his side.

Backing up less than 48 hours after featuring as 18th Man for New South Wales' State of Origin commitments on Wednesday night, Matterson was a presence in the middle and on the edge against the Raiders — racking up a game high 57 tackles, while also adding 12 runs for 112 metres in his 80-minute effort.

Since joining the club at the start of the season, the 24-year-old Matterson has been superb for Wests Tigers — featuring in every game of the year so far — and will surely again be in contention for the New South Wales Origin squad for Game Two.
