Wests Tigers Men's and Women's NRL Touch Premiership sides have kicked off their 2019 season today in New Zealand.
Travelling across the ditch to New Zealand, both sides were eager to begin their competition on a high. Playing prior to the NRL game, the men’s side went on to defeat the Warriors in a thrilling 7-5 victory while our women’s were competitive throughout the match before defeating going down in a close 8-7 defeat.
Last season, both Wests Tigers sides reached the final in 2018 with the Women winning and the Men going down in Golden Point, and with a new-look competition in 2019, it's shaping as an even bigger year for those interested in the Touch Football game.
