Jersey Flegg Team Announcement: Round 8

Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg Coach Wayne Lambkin has named his side to take on the Sydney Roosters this Sunday, May 5 for their Round 8 clash at North Sydney Oval.

Kickoff for the match is at 10:00am AEST as Wests Tigers look to bounce back from last week's disappointing loss to the Cronulla Sharks and climb back in to the top eight, having dropped to ninth as a result of the defeat in Round 7.

With halfback Jock Madden ruled out with a hamstring injury, Ben Stevanovic returns to the halves and will partner Gus Garzaniti in Madden's absence.

There's also a change up front for Wests Tigers, with Felix Smith and Sione Tupou both named to start after coming off the bench last week. Ray Jankovic and Mavoni Tuifua drop back to the interchange list alongside Jordan Main, while Senn Kane and Ethan Makoia return to the squad after missing out on last week's team.

After a dominant start to the year, the Roosters come in to Sunday's contest with a mixed run of form with two tight wins over the Raiders and Thunderbolts contrasted by a defeat to Cronulla and draw last week against the Bulldogs.
