McQueen, Twal charged but free to play after early plea

Wests Tigers forwards Chris McQueen and Alex Twal have been cited by the Match Review Committee following the club's Round 7 win over the Gold Coast Titans in Tamworth.

McQueen was charged with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact - Other offence on Moeaki Fotuaika in the fourth minute, while Twal was charged with a Dangerous Throw on Phillip Sami in the 47th minute of Saturday's game that saw Wests Tigers come from 14-0 down to emerge with a 30-14 win at Scully Park.

Both offences attract an 100-point charge which is reduced to 75 points upon an early guilty plea, meaning both players are available for selection in the club's Round 8 away match against the Sydney Roosters this Saturday.
