Liddle named to make return from injury in Canterbury Cup

Wests Tigers Canterbury Cup Head Coach Brett Hodgson has finalised his side as Western Suburbs Magpies take on Wentworthville in the Round 6 Easter Monday clash today.

Following from last week's good win over Penrith, Hodgson has named a strong side for today's game with NRL squad members Dylan Smith, Tyson Gamble, Robbie Rochow and Sam McIntyre all named, along with David Nofoaluma, Paul Momirovski and Elijah Taylor — who were originally named as NRL reserves.

Jacob Liddle will make his return from an ankle injury picked up last month and will start at hooker, with Braden Robson and Soni Luke dropping out of the side.

Liddle has not played since picking up an ankle injury in the team's Round 1 win.

2019 Development Players Tommy Talau, Kane Bradley and Alex Seyfarth have also been retained after playing their first reserve-grade game of the year last week.

Kickoff is at 1:30pm AEST for the first ever game at Bankwest Stadium.
