Wests Tigers will head to the nation's capital in Round 22 with the aim of keeping their finals hopes alive against a Canberra Raiders side playing for pride in 2018.
A gritty 25-16 win over the Newcastle Knights last week ensured that Ivan Cleary's side remained within touching distance of the top eight, but they'll face a much tougher task this Sunday against a Raiders outfit that has proved a bogey team for Wests Tigers in recent years — particularly at home.
As they have done often this season, Canberra surrendered a big lead last week against Penrith to find themselves four points back of Wests Tigers in 10th position and out of the race for a finals spot.
They'll be looking to play spoiler this weekend, though, in what's shaping as an intriguing match indeed!
