Join us at Campbelltown for our final trial match!

Wests Tigers Members and fans are in for a full day of action this Saturday at Campbelltown Sports Stadium as the club plays it's final trial match of 2018.

After a first-up win over the North Queensland Cowboys in Cairns, Ivan Cleary has named a much stronger side for Saturday's clash against the Cronulla Sharks — the last chance for players to stake their claims at earning a spot in the season opener on March 10 against the Sydney Roosters.

Gates will open at Campbelltown Sports Stadium at 10:30am AEDT, with the club's junior representative sides doing battle in the two early matches of the day. Balmain Tigers and Western Suburbs Magpies will take on each other in Harold Matthews U/16's (10:45am) and SG Ball U/18's (12:45pm), giving fans the chance to spot the next generation of Wests Tigers stars before anyone else does!

At 2:45pm, Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg side will take to the field for their trial match against the Cronulla Sharks with a young side eager to impress Coach Craig Wilson ahead of Round 1.

Following that, Wests Tigers Intrust Super Premiership side, Western Suburbs Magpies, will face the Newtown Jets in a match that will attract plenty from neutrals with the likes of Tuimoala Lolohea, Chris McQueen, Mahe Fonua, Tyson Gamble and JJ Felise all named to feature.

The main event will kick off at 7:00pm with Wests Tigers and Cronulla looking to put the finishing touches on what's been a strong pre-season. The home side will be boosted by the inclusion of New Zealand Test forwards Russell Packer and Ben Matulino for their first game in Wests Tigers colours, while the visitors will have Josh Dugan, Matt Moylan and Ava Seumanufagai all making their maiden club appearances.

Last time these two sides met in a trial match at Campbelltown, the match finished in a pulsating 30-30 draw, so it's certainly not one to miss! 2018 Wests Tigers and Cronulla Sharks Members have FREE entry to the match and General Admission tickets are available for just $5, so make sure you come along!
