Despite an improved performance across the board from Wests Tigers, it was still a disappointing weekend or results for the Junior Representative and Associated teams.

In Ron Massey Cup, Western Suburbs withstood a comeback from Cabramatta to emerge with a 28-12 victory, but were unable to repeat the result in Sydney Shield, going down 32-22.

In SG Ball, the Roosters were too good for Balmain at Leichhardt Oval, winning 32-18, but Western Suburbs bounced back with a win against the Sea Eagles, triumping 26-8 in the end.

In Harold Matthews, Balmain went down 20-8 to the Sydney Roosters on Friday night, while Western Suburbs were defeated 48-20 in a high-scoring affair by the Sea Eagles at Lottoland.

Wests Tigers Tarsha Gale Nines team were forced to forfeit their Round 7 clash against the Illawarra Steelers due to a lack of available players, but will be right for next week's game.
