Despite several impressive performances this season already, Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks says he's desperate to improve further as his side look to stay in touch with the top eight this Friday night when they take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Having scored three already this year, Brooks' ball-playing skills have been at the forefront of his game all season — leading the NRL in linebreak assists (12) and sitting third in try-assists (11), trailing only Grand Finalist halfbacks Ben Hunt and Jonathan Thurston.
However, while there's no doubt plenty of positives for the 21-year-old in his game this season, the halfback says he knows there's things in his own game he can do better.
"Our kicking wasn't the best — I take responsibility for that," he said.
"It's something that me and the team need to turn around this weekend.
"I've just got to put it in the right spot and be better.
"We dropped a lot of ball and gave the Roosters a lot of opportunity on Sunday.
"In the end that hurt us, so we've got to be better on that."

Be there to cheer the boys on when they take on South Sydney Rabbitohs on June 10!
