Wests Tigers forward Rod Griffin has been named in the Papua New Guinea squad for their upcoming Pacific Test match against Fiji on Saturday, May 7.
Griffin joined Wests Tigers at the start of the 2016 season from the Ipswich Jets, making his first appearance for the Club at the Auckland Nines tournament, and has featured heavily in the Club's Intrust Super Premiership team throughout the season so far.
The Atherton Roosters junior has player six games for Papua New Guinea already in his career, including the 2008 Rugby League World Cup and 2010 Four Nations tournament.
He will be joined in the Papua New Guinea squad by the likes of David Mead, Nene Macdonald and Kurt Baptiste as they take on Fiji at Pirtek Stadium next Saturday.
Be there as Wests Tigers wear their first ever Indigenous Jersey against the Bulldogs!
