After playing just four NRL matches during the 2014 season, Jack Buchanan received a recall to the first grade team in Round 2 against the St. George-Illawarra Dragons and from there he played another five consecutive NRL games.
Following on from that period, Buchanan’s NRL appearances were scattered, totaling 12 appearances for the season.
The Culburra Dolphins junior played in four of the Club’s eight victories in 2015, appearing in the Round 2 (vs. St. George-Illawarra Dragons), Round 5 (vs. Parramatta Eels), Round 21 (vs. Melbourne Storm) and Round 22 (vs. Canberra Raiders).

Best Game — Round 23 vs. Newcastle Knights
Buchanan’s best game of the year ended up being his final NRL appearance of 2015 due to the return of Martin Taupau from suspension after the Club's Round 23 clash.
With Aaron Woods leaving the field in the 16th minute with a knee injury, Buchanan played a whopping 52 minutes against the Newcastle Knights. The 23-year-old made 96 metres, 44 tackles and one offload in the narrow loss at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
