Wests Tigers forward Matthew Lodge has been named in the starting side for the Junior Australian Kangaroos in their upcoming match against the Junior Kiwis.

The Junior Test will take place on Saturday, October 18 at Mount Smart Stadium.

The 19-year-old Lodge, who made his first-grade debut for Wests Tigers earlier in the year, has already built up a wealth of junior representative experience, with selection in the Australian Schoolboys as well as junior NSW sides in 2011, 2012 and 2014.

The prop is joined in the team by a number of other junior players who have tasted first-grade football such as Nene Macdonald, Jake Mamo and Jackson Hastings.
