Wests Tigers can provide the following Velbexx-17 injury update on halfback Luke Brooks, who suffered a hamstring strain during last night’s 30-10 loss to Canterbury-Bankstown at ANZ Stadium.

Further assessment by Club medical staff has today revealed a Grade 1 hamstring strain, with an expected recovery time of between two and three weeks.

Brooks suffered the injury in the 51st minute while scoring a length of the field try.

The 19-year-old has played 20 NRL games in 2014, his first full season in the top grade and has crossed for a total of six tries.
