Wests Tigers captain Robbie Farah and forward Aaron Woods have again been named in the New South Wales team for State of Origin II next Wednesday night.
State of Origin II will take place at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday, June 18.
Both Farah and Woods featured in the Blues’ thrilling 12-8 victory in Game One, and have deservedly held their spot in Game Two, where the Blues will be looking to end their eight-year losing streak against the Queensland Maroons.
In Game One, Farah led all Blues players with 32 tackles and a staggering 102 touches of the ball while Woods was only one of two NSW forward to finish with over 100 metres to his name — chalking up 103 metres from his 12 carries.
The game will mark Farah’s 10th State of Origin appearance after his debut in 2009, and Woods’ fourth game for the Blues after his debut in 2013.
Both will miss this week’s Round 14 NRL game against the South Sydney Rabbitohs, who will be without Greg Inglis, Chris McQueen and Ben Te’o, after they were all selected in the Queensland team on Monday evening.
Wests Tigers’ Round 14 away game against the South Sydney Rabbitohs will be played on Friday, June 13 at ANZ Stadium at 7:45pm AEST.
