Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the re-signing of several exciting players for the 2014 season and beyond.
Here is a list of players the Club has re-signed:
- Kurtis Rowe for two years
- Taqele Naiyaravaro for two years
- Andy Fiagatusa for two years
- Michael Bullock for one year
- Asipeli Fine for one year
- Jarred Farlow for one year
Talented Holden Cup fullback Kurtis Rowe and NSW Cup star Taqele Naiyaravaro will join the Wests Tigers full-time squad.
Nineteen-year-old Rowe is currently equal-leading tryscorer in the Holden Cup, with 24 tries in 24 games this season.
Naiyaravaro has also enjoyed a stellar year in the NSW Cup before an ankle injury whilst playing for NSW Residents cut short his campaign.
Promising Under 20s front-rower Andy Fiagatusa has also signed a two-year deal that will see him spend 2014 with the NSW Cup side before moving into the full-time squad in 2015.
In other exciting news, Wests Tigers have secured promising young talent for the Holden Cup side in 2014 headed by Australian Schoolboy players Marion Seve and Lamar Lioleveave.
The pair will join fellow Keebra Park students Sione Alofi, Watson Heleta, Te Maire Martin and Hala Masila.
Balmains premiership-winning SG Ball side of 2013 will also provide a number of up and coming players to the 35 man squad in Tom Satterthwaite, Jayden Wheelhouse, John Tohi, Jeremy Marshall-King, Peter Taauso, Tyler Cassell, Dwayne Lemafa and Adam Spicer.
Jacob Follent (Marist Brothers Lismore), Dan Killen and Eli Levido (both All Saints Maitland) will also join the Under 20s for the 2014 season. All three played in the Northern Country Combined Catholic Schools side.
