Wests Tigers would like to thank our loyal Members who made it to Leichhardt Oval in atrocious weather conditions last Friday night.
With over 7,000 Members and supporters witnessing our 22-20 victory over the Cowboys, the Club would like show its appreciation of the vocal crowd who played a big part in the victory.
Wests Tigers Captain Robbie Farah paid tribute to the Leichhardt Oval crowd post-game.
We owed to the fans, theyve stuck solid even though we have been pretty disappointing in the last few months, Farah said.
They showed up in the pouring rain and got us home in the end. Nothing went our way in the second half but they got behind us and its good to repay them for turning up.
(It felt like more than 7,000) especially there at the end when we were coming home strong and defending our line.
With the bye this week followed by two away games, the Wests Tigers next home game isnt until June 22 against the Raiders at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
