Paul Sironen and Braith Anasta have attended the "Siro 7s" junior rugby league 7s tournament played by schools throughout the Wests Tigers development region.
"This was introduced about 10 years ago," said Sironen.
"It's a 7s tournament in amongst all the public and catholic schools in the district.
"It's a great way to introduce kids in schools into play 7s and hopefully they transfer into the 13-a-side game.
"It's a great concept. Girls can play with the boys up until the age of around 12 as well.
"I'm fortunate to have it named after me!"
Wests Tigers star Braith Anasta spent the afternoon hanging out with hundreds of school kids.
"It brings back memories actually, girls and boys playing in a 7s tournament," said Anasta.
"It was always good fun when I used to play in them.
"It's great to be here and seeing these kids all having fun."
