Wests Tigers players Benji Marshall, Keith Galloway and Lote Tuqiri were swamped by keen supporters at Macarthur Square Shopping Centre on Friday.
The injured players made an appearance to help promote tonights home match against Brisbane Broncos at Campbelltown Sports Stadium. It topped off a big week of activities and training sessions for Wests Tigers in Campbelltown.
The players happily posed for photos and signed autographs while Galloway also oversaw the Wests Tigers banner making competition. The banners will be on show tonight with the winning entrant to be named at half-time of the NRL game.
Earlier in the day, some lucky Platinum Members joined VIP guests to watch the teams final training session under Coach Mick Potter.
Other activities Wests Tigers undertook during the week in Campbelltown was a networking luncheon at Wests Leagues Club with sponsors and a community development day in Camden on Monday.
Wests Tigers supporter Clare wrote the following message on Facebook following the Macarthur Square appearance.
Dear Benji, I would like to say a big thank you for making a little girls year. I took my daughter, Sophie, out to Campbeltown today to meet you.
We drove all the way from Dee Why. She came up the front and asked you to sign her hat. She told me on the way home "that was the best day ever I will always remember this day". Thank you for taking the time to meet your fans.'
