Wests Tigers and New Zealand five eighth Benji Marshall says he remains proud of his performances after losing the Kiwi captaincy role.
"There's not much I can do," said Marshall.
"At the end of the day, I've still got to play football as my job. I've still got to do that to the best of my ability.
"If I let it affect that, then I'm not doing my job.
"I'm proud of my performances and the way I play for my team mates. That's just the way I live.
"I've gone through a lot in my career, nothing is going to bring me down."
