Wests Tigers Head Coach Mick Potter has named his side to play Newcastle Knights on Monday, March 11.


The match at Hunter Stadium kicks off at 7pm. It will be the first Telstra Premiership match for Potter as a coach. Match referees are Gerard Sutton and Brett Suttor.

Since Wests Tigers debut season in 2000, the club has played the Knights 17 times for nine wins and 8 losses.


One of Wests Tigers' most famous victories came against the Knights in 2001, coming back from 28-12 with Kevin McGuiness scoring the fairytale winner on his return from suspension.


Wests Tigers scored a thrilling Golden-Point win against the Knights in 2011 with a Robbie Farah field goal sending a packed Leichhardt Oval wild.
