Wests Tigers vice-captain Elijah Taylor has been voted by the Club's Members as the 2017 Members Player of the Year, as announced last night at Leichhardt Oval.

The inspirational lock forward was presented with the award by Membership Ambassador Paul Whatuira in a special post-match ceremony following last night's win over the Warriors.

Taylor and winger David Nofoaluma received the vast majority of votes for the award, with the 27-year-old (who re-signed with the Club during the week) narrowly taking out the award.

Both players will be in contention to take home the top prize tomorrow night at the Club's annual Presentation Night, with the Kelly Barnes Award for the Player of the Year.

Wests Tigers would like to congratulate Elijah Taylor on picking up this award!
