Wests Tigers new recruit Elijah Taylor says he feels great to be a part of the Club after his first game last Sunday against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

In his first game since joining from Penrith, Taylor made a team-high 50 tackles in the defeat, and spoke about his hunger to get a victory this week against Newcastle.

"It's a good opportunity for me to play first-grade again," Taylor said.

"It's a great Club and a really good bunch of boys.

"We train really hard and there's a great culture and they've made me really welcome.

"I had to fast-track a lot of things to get ready for last week — game plans and the calls of certain moves. It wasn't the easy adjustment but I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to moulding my game more into how the Wests Tigers play."

Saturday arvo footy returns to Campbelltown this week when we take on the Knights!
