Wests Tigers Holden Cup Coach Willie Peters has named his side to take on the New Zealand Warriors in the season opener this Saturday, March 5.

In what is a new-look side - eight players are set to make their NYC debut this weekend - including halfback Thomas Bartley who has impressed throughout the trials.

Junior Tatola and Jack Wheelhouse will co-captain the side, with standout performers from last year in Obed Karwhin, JJ Felise and Esan Marsters also included in the line-up.

The team had mixed results during pre-season trial matches, with a 35-34 victory over Cronulla, a 28-22 loss to the Sydney Roosters and a 22-all draw against Penrith.

Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 3:15pm at Campbelltown Sports Stadium, prior to the NRL clash between Wests Tigers and New Zealand at 5:30pm.
