Wests Tigers duo Robbie Farah and Aaron Woods have today been named in the initial Australian train-on squad for the upcoming Four Nations Tournament and Prime Minister’s XIII match.
As well as their efforts on a Club level this season, both Farah and Woods played all three games for the series-winning New South Wales Origin side this year.
Farah has played seven Test Matches for Australia previously and travelled with the Prime Minister’s XIII team on four occasions.
Woods is yet to make his Australian Test debut, however he played in the 2012 Prime Minister’s XIII team against Papua New Guinea.
The squad contains a mix of experienced stars along with new talent including Anthony Milford, Jack Wighton, Jarrod Croker and Michael Gordon.
Each week players will be added to the squad as teams are eliminated from the Finals series and a final squad for the Prime Minister’s XIII will be announced on September 29.
The Prime Minister’s team will play the PNG Kumuls at Kokopo on Sunday, October 12.
The Four Nations squad will be announced following this game.
